Yoga Class Descriptions

Class Levels

Classes move at a slow pace, include basic poses, and are suitable for beginners and those who prefer a more gentle practice.
Classes move at a moderate pace, may introduce more complex poses (including arm balances and inversions), and are suitable for those with some yoga experience.
Classes move at a moderate pace, include more complex poses (such as arm balances, inversions and backbends) and are suitable for students with at least 6 months previous experience with yoga.
Classes move at a moderate pace, include advanced poses and are suitable for students with at least on year of experience with vinyasa, flow or Ashtanga yoga.
Suitable for students at all levels. Modifications offered to make poses more or less challenging, depending on student preference.

What We Offer


A combination of standing, seated and reclining poses designed to build strength, increase flexibility and improve mental focus.  Inversions and arm-balancing poses may be explored in some classes.


Vinyasa classes move more quickly than Hatha classes, using flowing sequences to build heat, strength and endurance.  Advanced arm balances and inversions may also be explored.  Prior experience with Hatha or Vinyasa yoga required.


A one hour Vinyasa class done in a room heated to 90 degrees.  Get ready to sweat!

Yoga Basics and Foundations

A Hatha-based class suitable for beginners and designed for all levels of experience. Explore the fundamentals with emphasis on alignment principals, breath, mindfulness, as well as the philosophy and wisdom of the tradition. In this class, you will learn how to use props and modifications to gain access to and receive greater benefit from the poses.  No experience necessary! Come and find out why anyone can do yoga!



A yoga class designed especially for kids 5-10 helping them increase body awareness and improve concentration and relaxation through yoga poses, storytelling, music, art and games.  Pre-register for the 6-week series or drop-in for $10.


Soothing, well-supported seated and reclined poses held for several minutes, allowing the body to fully relax and release tension.  Suitable for all levels; no prior yoga experience required.


A slow, steady approach provides beginners with basic instruction in alignment as well as time to ease into poses through yogic breathing.  The Beginning class is for anyone at any level who wants to get back to basics, as well as those who are new to yoga.

Stretch and Refresh

We know that Yoga classes are not for everyone, but we also know that everyone can benefit from increased flexibility.  Whether you are an athlete (golfer, runner, baseball player, etc.) or just a person wanting to gain more flexibility for day to day activities this class is for you.  Stretching decreases risk of injury, increases blood flow to the muscles, improves postural misalignments and reduces stress.  No previous experience required.
