I believe that Yoga is for everyone, no
matter how your body looks or feels, no matter who you are or
where you are in your life journey. Your yoga practice can
benefit and even transform your life - if you want it to and if
you make a commitment to your practice.
I began studying yoga in 1973 and received my first teacher
training certification in 1975. Since that time I have studied
with teachers from all over the world. One thing my practice has
taught me is that learning to honor your body, to breathe
properly, and to calm your mind is the best way to be in this
world.
I teach in an informal style, and I try to bring humor and
compassion to the serious pursuit of uniting body, breath, and
mind. I will encourage and challenge you to grow in your own
practice.
