My passion is yoga and that passion extends toward truth. The practice of yoga does not necessarily give you anything, but it
reveals the greatness that is within all of us. This essence is the truth of who we are, and that extends far beyond what is seen with the naked eye...it simply starts with one breath...one breath at each present moment. From conscious breath springs forth the essence of our being which is peace, love and joy.

At a young age I was drawn toward yoga. Even though I did not know much about the philosophy, something inside of me knew it was going to impact my life. It was like this constant theme that kept revisiting me at the most opportune times.  The practice of yoga has healed my body from acute, chronic pain and injury. Quite literally it has been my saving grace.  However, the physical healing was only the tip of the ice burg.  The practice has empowered me to listen and trust my own inner voice and live life more fully...more consciously. It brings peace of mind. The journey the practice takes one on is the most exhilarating part...for there is no place to arrive to because we already have “the stuff,” we just need to step out of the way and allow it to radiate outward from the inside. It’s powerful, it’s grace...take hold and enjoy!

As a teacher, I feel all one can do is to help facilitate a space for students and practitioners to experience yoga in a safe, compassionate
environment. For it is you the practitioner that has the power...all I do is help one see what may not be seen...consider me the tour guide, for it is you who will hike up the mountain.  I still consider myself a student first...for I have much to learn, but with my over eleven years of experience practicing yoga
hopefully I can share some of my wisdom with you. Nothing gives me more joy than to share the practice of yoga with a student eager to learn...eager to transform. In peace. Namaste.
